GWOM episode twelve: The wrath of Seatopia

Miku and Trevor continued to train with their psychic powers, hoping to find out how much more powerful they have become. "Don't overdo it now," a voice said, causing Miku to sit straight up in surprise. "Mothra, did you hear something?" she asked suspiciously. She turned around and heard the voice again. "No, but I said something," she heard it say. Surprised, Miku looked at the moth deity with wide eyes and heard every word she said. "You must not overwhelm yourself with your psychic training," she said to a shocked Miku. The young teenager rubbed her eyes as Miki, Gorou, Toshiro and the Bones family walked over to her. "Don't try to tell them either, they won't understand." Miku nodded her head and raised her eyebrow. "So then how come I can understand you?" she asked her. "It's telepathy," Mothra explained to Miku. "Only psychics like you and him have this ability. Particularly strong psychics." Miku stared dumbfounded at Mothra, eyes wide and gently slapped herself in the face trying to make sense of it all. Meanwhile, an enraged underwater city was preparing to unleash their fury upon the surface world. "Now it's our time to rise against the people who destroyed our beautiful city and forced us to live under the waves of the ocean," their king proclaimed, standing on what appeared to be a large shrine. He spread his arms out as both men and women bowed to the shrine. "Megalon, our mighty god!" The king shouted. "Can you hear me!? We request that you awaken once again and destroy the surface world! Destroy our enemies! Rise Megalon!" The shrine rumbled and out from it came a large beetle kaiju with evil yellow eyes, a four pronged horn and drills for hands. "GRAARRRNNNGR!!" Megalon roared as he rose from the pillar. He looked up at the waves forming on the surface, opened his hard shelled carapace and flew to punish the world on the surface. "GRAARRRNNNGR!!" he roared continuously as he flew from the kingdom that worshipped him. Miku meanwhile continued to ask Mothra about her telepathy. "It takes years of training in order to truly master telepathy," Mothra said to her. "I never saw someone like you however, who mastered it in only a few hours." Miku blushed at the compliment, she often got good grades at school and never once predicted that she would once get any praise for it. What Mothra said was more meaningful than anything she could think of. "Thank you Mothra," she said, turning around and bumping into a young man. He had brilliant green eyes, a small ring on his left middle finger and stringy brown hair. "Oh, I am so sorry miss," he said dusting her off. "It's okay," Miku said politely and looked at him. "You're kind of... handsome." The man smiled and placed his hands behind his back. "Thank you, I get that a lot," he said, almost in a gentleman like way. "My name is Katashi, I'm a native of Okinawa." Miku giggled silently and extended her hand to him. "I'm Miku Sasaki and... well, I'm a psychic in training," she explained nervously to him. Toshiro and Trevor came up to her and saw Katashi. "Hey Miku, who's the new guy?" Toshiro asked her. "I'm Katashi and it's very nice to meet you mister..?" the Okinawa native said. "I'm Toshiro and this is our friend Trevor," Toshiro politely said to him. "Maybe you all would like to visit my mansion?" Katashi asked politely. "My god, that would be nice, wouldn't it?" Miku asked Toshiro. "Yeah, I always wanted to see a big old mansion like those rich snobs have," he said jokingly said. "Trust me when I say my family is the opposite of snobbish," Katashi promised. In space, Queen Xena monitored Earth for anything new when a soldier came in. "My queen, the owner of Gigan has appeared to seek an audience with you," he said to her. "Send him here," Xena said, tying her hair in a small bun. The guards allowed the guest in, but the only thing that appeared was a large black insect, a cockroach. "I have been waiting to meet you your highness," it said, its voice raspy and distorted. "I am the M nebula space hunter and I trust you have my kaiju. The one called Gigan." Xena looked down at the roach, got to her feet and snapped her fingers. The roach followed her and saw heavy machinery around Gigan. "Your kaiju met an unfortunate fate with an Earth monster," she explained as the space hunter looked more closely at what they were doing. "So we, the Drex, decided to upgrade him. One feature that I personally requested was a cluster beam. Where did you put that anyway?" Gigan then shot a red beam from his eye, destroying most of the equipment in the lab. Gigan got up and inspected his new body, clearly satisfied. "Behold, the new and improved Gigan," Xena said, smiling at the cyborg. Suddenly, red lights and sirens blared throughout the ship. "Now what!?" The Drex queen shouted at everyone. "There's something you should see," a soldier said, looking at a monitor. Xena came over and saw Megalon bursting from the ground, appearing on the surface. "GRAARRRNNNGR!!" he roared the instant he reached the surface. "Such an unusual creature," Xena said, placing her finger and thumb under her chin. "Should we destroy?" a soldier asked her calmly. "No, I have a better idea," she whispered to the soldier. "Send a camera probe to Earth. If it learns something interesting, maybe I might have this creature as my own too." The soldier nodded and released one probe to record valuable information about Megalon, the beetle god.
